Never ridden? A bit apprehensive? That’s okay! All mounts are experienced and trained positively, showing daily their enthusiasm and comfort with their experiences with new and caring people like you.
Nativity Riding Academy teaches the art of safe equitation, husbandry, and welfare of the horse to people of all levels. Lessons for learning your seat, or balance on horseback are offered daily as well. English equitation as well as a variety of basics across disciplines are taught. English seats including hunter seat equitation, jumpers and dressage are taught. Western pleasure and trail are included in programs to create versatile riders as well.

*** Spring is tick season. Riders who are up off the ground on horses, typically don’t get ticks, but it’s always a good idea to spray your lower legs this time of year. We sell the “Off” spray bottles for $6, in case you don’t have any. Or for $3 you can use a can of ours for more than one person. It is recommended you do a full body tick check on you and your family within 24 hours after being in any woods, especially in April and May during their replication season. ***
